This bike isn’t purely a triathlon bike but that’s what I use mine for. I’ve had it in one race and I average 23.5 mph on a a 9 mile sprint with moderate effort. The cadence with this gearing is still a little-bit new to me but I can tell this bike is going to help me improve the cycling piece–I’m a much better runner and swimmer, and I’m not a climber at all (yet). But so far I’m super happy with the results using the Transonic. Got first in age group and even passed a few others on the bike that beat me in the water.

Important: Pay attention to the sizing charts they give you on this site. My fit was perfect based on those charts!

OMG yes! I had been looking at the Fuji SLs and Transonics for months trying to decide if I was going to get a Fuji or a Trek. Was getting read to do my second sprint and this time I wanted to make a showing instead of just running with the pack. I ended up with the entry-level Fuji Transonic. I had a much better performance on this bike and I feel like it was a better choice than the Trek for the money with the Shimano 105 hardware. The c10 carbon is super-comfortable and the bike just FEELs fast. For a first-time aero bike rider, I am nothing but happy with the performance this one has given me. For what it’s worth I don’t use aero-bars and I do duathlon sprint length only (for now)
